One small chapter His story

Gods Redemption at Christs Expense

What’s GRACE got to do with it?

Like “Love” and “Hate,” I’ve misused the word “GRACE.” Saying it without fully knowing or connecting with everything it means to us mere mortals who are few in days and full of trouble.

But I’m learning.

Grace isn’t about who we are or where we’ve been. Because it isn’t about our “worthiness.” It’s about God’s absolute LOVE for us!

He made us to lavish love on us. God loves us the most and the best.

In LOVE, He does what He says. There’s no manipulating Him with fake tears and false confessions. He doesn’t re-arrange the rules to suit our circumstances. Our Abba does ALL THINGS well and ALWAYS in Love.God gave man the choice to enjoy close friendship with Him; and we blew it. God gave Jesus the choice to restore that relationship, and He followed through with it; He chose to die so we could choose to live close to God again. Enjoying the peace, provision and purpose God always wanted us to have.

“The sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to be king over all, but all who will take God’s gift of forgiveness and acquittal are kings of life because of this one man, Jesus Christ. Yes, Adam’s sin brought punishment to all, but Christ’s righteousness makes men right with God,so that they can live.” Romans 5:17-18 MSG

Understanding our sinfulness amplifies God’s greatness

No matter how hard we try, you and I cannot cover up, wash off or outrun our deep need for God’s Grace. We are all desperate for His deliverance…from sin, from suffering and from ourselves.

Only He can set us free!

GRACE is the Redeeming chapter in His story…

Maybe you already know how. But I’m still learning to own my story and to patiently, consistently love and accept myself through the process. To get past my tragic tendencies to fracture over nothing. To fall on my face. To forget who God says I am.

I’m learning to accept, embrace and honor God’s purposes for my life. To know Him and to make Him known.  This space is all about that grace.

If you’re here looking for got-it-all-together, Bible-study girl, you’re gonna be disappointed. I feel like I’m faking confidence and maturity for at least part of almos every day; the poster child for insecurity.

I’m here doing it afraid, dear friends. Sharing stories of God’s glory from  my little life. Praying they bring you hope, help and healing and the desire for a deeper relationship with Jesus.

To the praise of His glorious GRACE!
